I call these my training diamonds, and sometimes I remind my husband of the carat weight in case he feels the need to surprise me with real diamond studs. I am allergic to nickel and have to be careful with earrings. The platinum plating is well done, it hasn’t worn off and I have not had any allergic reaction. These arrived in a nice little box, with standard butterfly backs. I had some bigger earring backs handy, so I replaced them right away. (This is a must for me, because if I lose a training diamond I wouldn’t trust myself to have real diamond studs at all.)
