I wasn’t expecting much, given the price, but it really has exceeded my expectations! It comes beautifully packaged in a robin’s egg blue box with a white ribbon. The pendant itself isn’t huge – it measures just under 1 1/4 inches from the top to its longest “limb.” I am very happy with the size, it is big enough to be noticed but still classy and small enough that you could get away with wearing this in pretty much any setting.The blue opal inlay is very well-done and really adds so much color and beauty to this pendant! It also catches the light really well. It is smooth with no rough edges and both the pendant and the chain are stamped “925″ indicating that they are both indeed sterling silver. The chain is just simple but I haven’t had any problems with it so far. The hole in the pendant for the chain to go through is about 1/4″ x 1/8″ so there is plenty of room if you wanted to switch it out for a thicker chain. Recently took a girls trip to the beach and i have ordered the flip flop necklace for them, but i wanted some thing a little different for me. I fell in love with this star fish and is is so pretty.
